Overview

Your day begins with a leisurely hotel pick-up on Mahé before heading to Eden Island Jetty, where a modern 33-foot glass-bottom boat awaits. As you set sail into the sheltered, protected waters of St. Anne Marine Park, the magic begins immediately — the crystal-clear glass panels beneath your feet reveal a living tapestry of coral reefs, darting tropical fish, and the quiet rhythms of the Indian Ocean's underwater world.

The boat glides slowly through the park as your knowledgeable captain provides commentary on the marine life, local history, and conservation efforts that protect this remarkable ecosystem. A highlight of the morning is the fish-feeding session, where schools of brilliantly coloured fish gather in an extraordinary natural spectacle just inches below the surface.

For those who wish to immerse themselves more fully, the tour pauses at a carefully selected snorkelling spot within the marine park. Snorkelling equipment is provided, and the calm, clear conditions make this an ideal experience for beginners and seasoned swimmers alike. Those who prefer to remain on board are equally rewarded with the views from above.

The afternoon takes you ashore — first to the tranquil Long Island Beach, where soft sand and gentle waters invite you to swim and unwind, then on to the captivating Moyenne Island. One of the smallest national parks in the world, Moyenne is home to giant Aldabra tortoises, exotic birdlife, and ancient trees draped in tropical foliage. Its fascinating history adds another dimension to the island's undeniable charm.

The day reaches a delicious conclusion with a traditional Creole BBQ lunch served on the beach at Cerf Island — grilled fish, tender chicken, fragrant rice, fresh salad, and local fruits, accompanied by a soft drink and water. After leisurely afternoon snorkelling and beachcombing, the boat returns to Eden Island Jetty for your transfer back to your hotel, leaving you with memories of a truly exceptional day on the water.
