Praslin Island is the embodiment of a tropical paradise offering world class beaches, stunning Flora and Fauna.
Itinerary:
Begin the tour by visiting the Fond Ferdinand Nature Reserve. It is a 2 hour, easy trail where you can see various palm trees, the world’s largest nut the Coco De Mer, the Black Parrot and other small wildlife. At the peak is a spectacular 360° panoramic view of Praslin itself as well as the other Inner Islands of the Seychelles. In one direction you can see Curieuse, Sister, Coco, Round, Felicité and La Digue Island, while in the other direction you can spot Frégate, Mahé, and Silhouette Island. If the weather is clear, you may even be able to spot Denis Island on the horizon. By the admission office is a tortoise pen where you can either feed, pet or take selfies with these friendly giants.
Stop to enjoy a lovely creole lunch at a nice restaurant if you desire or we carry on to our next spot which is Anse Lazio. You can spend the rest of the afternoon freely relaxing on this beautiful beach with its fine white sands and crystal-clear water that you can even see the fish swim around you. There is a small shop and two restaurants at each end of the beach if you wish to grab a snack or cold drink.
